Independent, driven and a mother of two, Dascha Polanco is well known for her groundbreaking roles in Hollywood as a leading young Latina actress. Polanco is recognized for her role as Dayanara Diaz on the hit Netflix original series, “Orange is the New Black” (OITNB). The newest season of the two-time SAG Award-winning and Golden Globe-nominated show is out on Netflix starting July 27. The second installment of Ryan Murphy’s anthology, “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story,” focuses on the 1997 murder of fashion designer Gianni Versace (Edgar Ramirez) by Andrew Cunanan. Penelope Cruz stars as Donatella Versace with Ricky Martin as Gianni’s partner, Antonio D’Amico. Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Brad Falchuk, Alexis Martin Woodall, Dan Minahan, Tom Rob Smith, Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski served as executive producers on the series. | 7 June 2018
