Max Greenfield’s Kids Don’t Like His ‘American Crime Story’ Look
Actor Max Greenfield explained to Ellen why his kids were left confused while he filmed “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.” | 5 January 2018
So it’s been revealed that Max Greenfield’s character’s name is Ronnie. I’m guessing that might be Ronnie Holston? He was the florist that lived in the same hotel building as Cunanan’s at the time. When police tried tracking Cunanan down by tracking a pawn ticket, he had given them Ronnie’s room instead of his own. Cunanan was very very private accorting to Ronnie, but I’m sure the interaction in ACS:V is embellished for them to have dialogue on the show.
Tagging @acsversace-news for reasons.
Yes, although the source material Vulgar Favors goes more in-depth with Ronnie – he was a gay man in his 40s who hung around with Cunanan and set him up with sex and drugs (they would even smoke marijuana together), though Ronnie maintains he never had sex with Cunanan. He ended up getting harassed by the authorities when Cunanan listed his room number on the pawnshop form.
He supposedly had long, stringy blond hair and blue eyes so if they’re taking liberties anywhere it’s with the dark buzz cut look ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Hope this answers your question!
